Region 3 Competition - Rotary Young Musician of the Year 2015.
Congratulations to all our enthusiastic competitors for their contribution to this excellent day.
The Regional final - an opportunity to hear performances by 16 talented young musicians from Region 3 - Districts 1080, 1130, 1240 and 1260 - across East Anglia and beyond. The help from 10-12 Cambridge South Rotary Club members was essential to make the Regional final as much a success as the Club and District 1080 competitions have been this year. (Organisers arrive at 10.45pm)
To be held at St Faiths School, Cambridge - Doors open to public at 1pm.
Audience is always welcome - parking and refreshments available.
The standard of all the competitiors was so high that our experienced panel of judges had a very difficult time deciding on who to send on to the national final.
Howard Ionascu, Joanna Thornton and Peter Giles have a wealth of musical expertise and experience between them.
Our 16 Contestants (8 vocalists and 8 instrumentalists) are sponsored by 10 Rotary Clubs across Rotary Region 3 - Luton Someries, South Woodham Ferrers, Colchester, Holt & Broadlands, Havering, Chelmsford, Crystal Palace & Norwood, Putney, Cambridge South and Amersham.
