This session was co-ordinated by the Cambridge South Rotary Club in partnership with volunteers from Sustainable Girton. Grateful thanks to everyone taking part.
We met at 9.30am on Saturday 31st Jan and picked all the hedgerows between Girton, Histon and Oakington. There was a lot of unsightly and unsafe litter. We gathered a group of 9, despite the chilly weather, and collected 18 bulging sacksful !
(We met at the parking area on the right, as you leave Girton westwards, by Gretton School, (Manor Farm Rd) at 9.30am and worked to about 12.30).
