Intermezzo Italiano - 2014

An evening of good food, wine and opera

In July 2014 President David and his wife Sandra organized this evening for members their wives and friends and in support of the charity "Living Hope".

Zita Tatrai, a dramatic soprano, entertained us all with a selection of arias, from favourite Italian operas. Good food, fellowship and the lovely singing made the evening a great success.  Not only did everyone have a good time (we actually filled the restaurant) but also we raised £530 for "Living Hope", a much better result than we dared expect.

Thank you to everyone for your support for our Intermezzo Italiano evening. If you would like to see how the money for Living Hope is being used

February 2015 ...

Thank you everyone (Mille Grazie) for supporting our reprise of Intermezzo Italiano at L'Aragosta, including special thanks to our Rotary friends from Chislehurst, Langley Park and West Wickham.

Your support ensured that we enjoyed a great evening in the company of Zita and raised a total of £603.60 (Including £270 from the Raffle).

Proceeds from this event will be going to Alzheimers/Dementia charities in Bromley. The money along with other money raised, will be divided between Age UK dementia cafe in Beckenham; Bromley MindCare (Dementia Care) Hayne Road, Beckenham; and White Gables Alzheimers Society Centre in Bromley.
