GCT dinner - Jan 2015

2015 Goodwill Christmas Tree Dinner at Langley Park Golf Club.

The dinner is held in January of each year, when a cheque is presented to the 'guest' charity.

This year the 'guest' charity is the Petts Wood Playgroup and a cheque was presented President-elect Nick to a member of the group, who accepted it on behalf of the charity.

The evening was co-hosted by President David and President-elect Nick. It was a great Rotary Beckenham event and very humbling to hear how the ladies from Petts Wood Playgroup give their time FREE to help Special Needs Children.

It was also a good opportunity also to mark Trevor Thorman's 14 years of community service through Rotary, by the award of a Special Service Award, only the second time that our club has made such an award.
