John Pickard will talk to us today. First we welcome Karen and Paul to our club as our newest recruits.

We start the evening with a double Induction ceremony for Karen and Paul Laedlein - Welcome to our first american members !

Speaker topic - 'Patient-inspired innovation' - John Pickard
Around the time John retired from the Chair of Neurosurgery he established the National Institute for Health Research Brain Injury HTC, as its Honorary Director. This Health Technology Cooperative seeks to identify unmet needs amongst patients of all ages after brain injury that may be susceptible to a technology-based solution and then involve inventors, small/ medium enterprises, business angels and NHS commissioners.
A Council Meeting will follow this meeting.
