The Educational scene - present & future !
Andrew Hutchison started his teaching career in Liverpool before working for a number of years as Head of Classics and Head of Year in schools in London. He then moved to Doncaster as Deputy Head before taking up his first Headship at Parkside Community College in 1999.
Andrew Hutchison has been Executive Principal of Parkside Federation Academies since August 2005.
Our National Education system is going through a radical restructure. Andrew gave us a fascinating talk on the review and his view on the future aims of the Dept of Education.
Brett Turton joins the club.
President Alan Club were delighted to welcome Brett as a full Member and he was presented with his Rotary pin and Name Badge. Sponsor Vicky B introduced and recommended him to the meeting. Brett has already helped with several projects including braving the cold during Parking and supporting the Young Musician Competition.
