2014 Beer & Music Fest Presentations

A busy night with our guests - the presentation evening from the Beer & Music festival this year.

Callum Fairhurst on behalf of the Foundation recieved a cheque for 4500 presented by President Alan, Immediate Past President, Trevor and Committee Chairman, Bruce.

Callum thanked the Club for their efforts and he indicated that the money could be going to support up to 10 deserving families take a trip to Disneyworld, Paris.

Lisa Gregory was also a special guest, representing The Shade School. During the Saturday evening, an auction generated 618 for the school which was an excellent achievement.

Lisa indicated that the school would benefit significantly by channelling the money towards funding addition much needed books for their library.

Last but nor least, The Club welcomed Mr Peter Wybourne form the Asda supermarket group - Peter presented a cheque to Rotary for 175 raised through events they had carried out at both the Beer & Music festival and the Pumpkin Fair. The Club was very grateful for this contribution which would go to support organisations and charities they are working with. The Club also welcomed a committment for their ongoing support in the future.
