The Rotary Club of Billericay, which celebrated 55 years in November, is taking the fight against Ebola into the local market place. As part of the planned activities in support of the annual Billericay High Street Christmas Market, the club has printed 5,000 raffle tickets with the campaign to stop the spread of the life-threatening disease which has already accounted for more than 4,000 deaths, as one of the main recipients of the Raffle's proceeds.
