Rotary in Goole - 13/10/14

Irvine Seagate Rotary President Fiona Lee chaired a meeting of home grown entertainment on Monday when John Brown gave a talk on his recent visits to Goole and Wigan, the latter immediately generating well worn comments about the pier. 

Whilst his visits were for family celebrations, he managed to fit in a Rotary meeting in Goole and came back with a number of new fundraising and fellowship ideas, and some new anecdotes.  A Vote of Thanks to John by Eric Greig was almost as long as the talk, and equally entertaining which made for a very relaxed evening.
