Autumn Charity Concert

Wherever you like to listen to good music, be it in a concert hall, pub, lounge bar, or in the open air, if you were at the Emmanuel Hall on Saturday September 13th, you would have been converted - Music “In The Round” sounds and feels so much better.  You can feel the sound, and seem immersed in the music.

That’s where the top Essex band Re_Public, played for Rotarians and friends at our Autumn Charity Concert on September 13th., all in aid of Little Havens Children’s Hospice and other Rotary supported charities.

The event was previewed by Phoenix FM who gave it good coverage with a live session and interviews of the band on the air, and featuring it in its Events Guide.

A steady stream of music lovers arrived for the concert at Emmanuel Hall in Laindon Road, Billericay, eager to hear the music and join in the fun.

The band is Paul Barnes (lead vocals), Chris Johnston (guitar and vocals), Ben Hearn (bass and backing vocals) and Mark Stephens (drums and percussion).  And on top of that, their superb vocalist Amy Langmead.
