Service Above Self Awards 2015

The Service above Self Competition has been run by Southport Links Rotary since 2005. Congratulations to the  winning school of the 2014/15 competition, Norwood School - picture receiving their trophy, certificate and cheque.

Infant and primary schools in Southport and the surrounding area are invited to enter each year,demonstrating that good citozenship is at the forefront of their schools' ethos.

The criteria by which the schools are judged are as follows :

Service to people less fortunate than ourselves

Service to Senior Citizens

Service to the Environment

Other examples of service to the community

The winner will be the school whose pupils have, in the opinion of the judges, best met those criteria.
