Dec 2014 Speaker Meeting - the British Legion

This evening our 2 speakers will talk about their project Poppy Call - a dedicated handy person service which helps to keep ex serving personnel and their families safe, secure and independent for longer. Kevin Hinsley and Janet Impey will talk about eligibility, how to access the service, and the type and range of work they undertake. Their funds mainly come from the 2 weeks of poppy sales every year.  Each van is driven by a well trained handyman who is First Aid trained and able to assess the needs of the client.
