Infertility Network Scotland. 04/08/14

Speaker at Irvine Seagate Rotary on Monday was Susan Seenan from Infertility Network Scotland.  Infertility affects as many as one in six couples wanting children, and can have significant emotional and psychological impact.  The organisation is there to support people with fertility difficuilties, who often feel isolated or depressed, and give advice on treatment possibilities and availability. 

There is a regional network of support groups, including one in Ayrshire, where advice and support is available from others who have experienced the problem.  They have an interactive website at www.infertilitynetworkuk.com, and a freefone advice line at 0800 008 7464. 

There were a number of questions to the speaker, and a Vote of Thanks was proposed by Hugh Drennan.
