3rd Anniversary of the opening on 13 August 2011
TREE PLANTING
To celebrate his 50th Anniversary in the club Keith Misselbrook decided to donate 4 trees to the project. Both he and wife Beth felt that this was not only the best way to celebrate their years of involvement with the club, but also their love of trees.
Nigel, Jocelyn, Keith and Beth met up at Guernsey Gardens where the 4 trees were selected (having been recommended for the site by the Men of The Trees) and later that week (late June) met up at Delancey to plant them out.
The attached pictures show Nigel, Keith and Beth in full planting mode.
Nigel (President of the club at this time) would like to record both his personal thanks and those of The Rotary Club of Guernsey to Keith and Beth for their very generous donation and also of course their commitment to the club and the fellowship they have shared with so many members over the last 50 years. Long may it continue.
