CLUB NIGHT - 28/04/14

Irvine Seagate Rotary Club had a club business meeting on Monday.  It was confirmed that Glebe Primary School will represent Irvine in the Rotary Primary Schools Quiz district finals in Glasgow in June.  Also in June the club will be hosting visitors from their twin club from Orleans.  In July Seagate will have a charity fund raising bottle stall at Asda. 

Arrangements for the Dragon Boat racing at Marymass are well in hand, with ten teams already fully signed up and others in the pipeline.  There are still spaces available for a few more teams, and details can be seen on www.irvineharbourside.org/dragons. 

On Monday past President Fiona Lee handed over a sponsorship cheque from the club to the Scottish Blind Golf Society at their annual competition at Prestwick, and on Tuesday the club passed on a further 30 backpacks to the charity Mary
