PRESIDENT'S NIGHT 2014

President's Night ~ Saturday 12th April 2014 

57 varieties of Rotarians, Wives and Guests enjoyed a pleasure filled  evening of wining, dining and dancing at the Conservative Club, Creek Road at the Annual President's Night which marks  the drawing to conclusion of President Peter Bennett's year in office.

The function gave everyone attending the chance to, socialise and greet old friends in the Bar, and to  enjoy a fine three course dinner provided by Classic Catering. 

After proposing the Loyal Toast President  Peter welcomed all, reflecting upon the Club's achievements over the past Rotary year. Rotarian David Combes President of the Whittlesey Rotary club responded on behalf of the guests. Godfrey Smith, Senior Vice President proposed a Toast to The Ladies, with The Presidents Lady, Brenda Bennett responding on behalf of the ladiesl. Following the formalities The Skyliners provided entertainment and live music for dancing until the midnight hour.

During the course of the evening there was a celebration to mark the birthday of both Rotarian John Lattimore and guest Yvonne Eatock.
