12.45 for 1pm Rotarians Golfing Xmas Lunch

This year our first Christmas meal was held at the Portway Inn near Hereford.
23 members and friends had great afternoon well organised by Dave Barwick, with good food and good service supplied by the Portway Inn near Staunton on Wye. http://www.theportwayinnhotel.co.uk/ As this meal was organised by the Club's Golf Society, golfing jokes provided the entertainment. Dave, initiating the first Annual Golfing Awards, made the following presentations: " Most Lost Balls" Brian Price, " For Stealth Play" Paul Barrett, " Most Frustrated Golfer" Norman Thorp, "Fastest Player" Kevin Howcroft and " Shortest Drive/Most Unusual Swing" Dave Barwick himself. Looking forward to next year's - can it be at the Portway again?
