Calderglen Cleanup
For the past seven years East Kilbride Rotary club have been involved with an annual clean up task at Calderglen park.
Once again pupils from Calderglen high School have given their support in this environmental cleanup. As can be seen from the picture a large number of bags were once again collected by the team of willing workers from the school and the Rotary club.
Members of the club wish to thank everyone who came along and gave of their time to help them in their efforts.
A lot of this work could have been prevented if visitors to the park used the waste receptacles that are available within the park or better still take their rubbish home for recycling and not discard it with the grounds of the park.
