This annual event is organised and staffed by local Rotary Clubs with the aim of giving a lively, fun day out to children from local special schools. Marquees of Puppets and Kite-making/Flying, Train rides, Bouncy Castles, Face Painting and a visit to the Home Farm are all included. Refreshments are on tap, including a free ice-cream (very popular) and T-shirts and caps are all included.

This year the schools that were involved were :
Haverhill and Castle (sponsored by Cambridge South), Colville, Cherry Hinton and Meldreth manor.
Altogether 132 children had a great day out.
The Clubs involved in organising the day, sponsoring transport and staffing the day included Royston, Cambridge, Baldock and Haverhill as well as Cambridge South - from Districts 1060 and 1080.
