The Rotary Club of Southport Links are launching an urgent appeal for funds in order to purchase Shelter Boxes.

We have all seen photographs and video showing the devastation caused to the Phillippines by Typhoon Haiyan. Shelterbox is an aid organisation, founded by Rotarians, which has grown into one of the foremost suppliers of help to disaster areas, often being one of the first groups to be in the area with shelter, water purification equipment and other help. - For more details visit their website at http://www.shelterbox.org/typhoon_haiyan.php
