Big Band concert - 2011

On 3rd April 2011 the University of Greenwich Big Band gave a multimedia concert entitled "The History of Jazz and Big Band Music" at Kelsey Park School.  Playing many well know pieces from the 1920's, 30's and 40's , the height of the Big Band era , and accompanied by an audio visual presentation of pictures and video clips, their concert gave an insight into the history of jazz and the influential characters who drove the genre forward.

On the day we had an audience of 170 people, which was a fantastic response and the total raised for End Polio Now from a combination of ticket sales, raffle and half time refreshment was £1,720
