Jayne Middleton from The Rotary Club of Oswestry visited Hope House Hospice this week to deliver a number of items donated by the Club for the special iPad auction at the Hope House Fizz 'N' Fireworks Ball to be held at the Albright Hussey Manor Hotel on Saturday 9th November.
The items included a signed, framed photo of jockey Tony McCoy along with a signed copy of his autobiography, a collage of aircraft memorabilia entitled 'Flying at Hendon', 2 pieces of original artwork in oils of local scenes and various large signed photos of stars from the world of music and the cinema including Dame Judi Dench and Hugh Grant.
Jayne commented, "The Rotary Club of Oswestry is delighted once again to support Hope House and we wish the organisers every success with their fund-raising efforts this weekend. Fingers crossed Tony McCoy can beat the 4,000 career wins in the next few days and raise interest in his lots!"
