Alzheimer's Society - Mar 2015

On 5th March 2015 after a lunch at which we were joined by the ladies, past President David Hynes presented society representatives, Ahmed Masood and Angela Clayton-Taylor with various items they needed, including a tumble dryer, a food mixer, a radio and a cheque, all purchased by the club with proceeds of fund raising activities for the charity. After the presentation Angela Clayton-Taylor gave a moving talk about the various types of dementia, including a demonstration involving ten volunteers, to highlight the very different perceptions that people have regarding dementia.
