This week, Seagate Rotarians enjoyed an after-hours tour of the Linthouse Building of the Scottish Maritime Museum on Monday evening. They were guided round by museum volunteer Chris, ably aided by Rotarian Davie Cousar knew nearly as much about the history of the huge building, and the boats and engines it contains. Time allowed only a brief examination of the many fascinating exhibits, which will encourage a more leisurely return visit to one of Irvine's tourist highlights. After a vote of thanks to Chris, the Club returned to the warmth of the Ship for the rest of the usual Monday Rotary meeting.
