MAR 2014 Club 48th Charter Dinner - Selwyn College

The 48th Charter dinner held at Selwyn College with musical entertainment.
Our Annual Charter Dinner which celebrates the setting up of the Cambridge South Rotary Club has been booked. It is a special occassion in the club calendar and evening dress is the order of the day. Partners and Guests are invited and the President presides over the top table. The College Dining Hall is a very attractive setting and the menu and musical entertainment made it a night to remember.
Special Guests who attended included :
Hilary King - District 1080 Councillor with a special interest in Peace - who is very actively supporting our plans for September Peace One Day Conference and Sixth Form events.
Leon Lovett - reknowned musician and Conductor - who is very actively supporting our Young Musician of the Year Competition at club, District and Regional level.
The Club was delighted to name two new Paul Harris Fellowships - Richard de Horsey and Mike Smith for their outstanding contribution to club projects and two 45 years Long Service Awards to Derek Baldry and Tim Law.
