N Shrops Special Olympics Group W Mids XC 12th October

We are asked to support the N Shropshire Special Olympics Group who are hosting the West Midlands Cross Country Championships on Saturday 12th October - competitors will come from all over the area. 

Marshalling is required from 9.15 am for 10.00 am race start for a couple of hours.  The races will be based in the fields around Trefonen Village Hall and should be over by lunchtime.

Many thanks to the group of volunteers from Oswestry School Interact who came along and supported this morning.  As Rotary Coordinator Mike Jones said "Seeing the joy that these competitors got from it and their determination, will, I'm sure, make the Interact members happy in how they helped today."
