1. Flashmobs World Polio Day, 24th October 2013 : what is your club planning?

A reminder that DG Kate would like to know if your club is planning a flashmob event, either on your own or with other clubs, with Rotakids, Interact or Rotaract. So far she has only had two responses, both negative.

The flashmob should be taking place on or near 24th October 2013, World Polio Day.

As these events are planned to take place throughout Rotary GB&I we are planning to produce press releases, flyers and other support materials for everyone to access, in order to get the most publicity out of these events.

Please send DG Kate an email ( to rotary@keterthomson.co.uk) as soon as possible, with all the details

2. District Conference, Ayr : registration closes on 30th September 2013

For those still to book for the District Conference at Ayr, the closing date for registration of both Full and Day delegates is 30th September 2013.

This is to enable catering and transport arrangements to be confirmed with the providers.

Please note that you will not be able to register as a delegate on the day at Ayr.
