Oct 2013 D1080 84th District Rotary Conference - Norwich

This years District 1080 Annual Conference 2013 - Holiday Inn, Cromer Road, Norwich.
All rotarians and guests are invited to attend the annual District Conference.
This year 6 members of the club shared cars and attended the Saturday Conference. We were delighted to win the Jack Jeakins Shield for the second year running!
Friday 11th Oct - The programme started at 4pm with an optional exhibition and Dinner with entertainment by the local Fakenham School.
Saturday 12th Oct - the business core of the conference ran from 9am to 5.30pm, hosted by DG Bill redmayne, with many interesting and inspiring speakers from Rotary, Peace Scholar Rich, Inner Wheel and some excellent charities. The day finished with an optional District Governors Dinner in the hotel followed by dancing to a jazz band.
Sunday 13th Oct - for those staying locally the weekend finishes with a Fellowship Breakfast.
