Prizes were awarded by the Judges after lengthy discussion to :
Overall Instrumental Winner was Joseph Reynolds (16yrs) on piano, with Runner-Up Millie Lihoreau (15yr) on French Horn.
Vocalist Winner was Eliza Brenneis (12yr), with Runner-Up Lily Bravery (14yr).
All four will go on to the District Final in March 2014 at the Leys School, Cambridge.
Highly Commended prizes went to :
Juliette Richards on piano (11yr)
Eugenie Dalgliesh on violin (12yr)
The Club round was held at St Faith's School 1st February 3pm to 9pm.
Audience are always welcome to share in this tuneful event. Entry was free but donations to help support the event are very welcome
The panel of eminent Judges were Leon Lovatt , Robert Hodge and David Bartlett.
22 talented Candidates aged from 9yrs to 16yrs successfully applied to perform a range of instruments.
The day was split into two age groups 9yrs to 12yrs, 14yrs to 16yrs.
Two highly commended prizes were awarded in each age category, then an Overall Winner and Runner-up announced in both voice and instrumental categories, who will go forward to the District Competition on Sunday 2nd March 2014 at the Leys School, Cambridge.
