Around Thames Valley in 80 Ways: the Relay

A flavour of the fun and ingenuity of clubs' participation in this great event for WheelPower!


WheelPower

The object of the Around Thames Valley in 80 Ways relay was to raise funds and awareness for Rotary Wheel Appeal using as many modes of transport as possible, and have a great deal of fun while leaving a lasting Olympic Legacy!

Following the Opening Ceremony in April, participating clubs completed their relay legs in this Area by Area tour of the Thames Valley District, raising funds and awareness for Wheel Power, An amazing variety of wheeled powere was used in the journeys and we even appeared on Bucks TV!

Over £23,000 was raised for WheelAppeal in the process!
