Frugal lunch at David and Heather Barwick's home

This was a very enjoyable afternoon at Dave and Heather's lovely home in the warm sunshine.


This lunch was preceded by a walk locally - more details later - and everyone was ready to eat by 1pm. David warmly welcomed us and we then indulged in a tasty meal of sausages in onion and apples sauce plus rice, with a lovely quiche for the vegetarians. This was followed by an excellent blackcurrant crumble and coffee. Not so frugal but very enjoyable. Sheila told a couple of jokes ( the President's prerogative ) , we discussed  RC Ludlow's upcoming Dog Day http://www.ludlowdogday.co.uk/ then rounded off with the final toast - a lovely afternoon with good friends - thank you Dave and Heather for making it possible......and for raising
