Frugal lunch at David and Heather Barwick's home

This lunch was preceded by a walk locally - more details later - and everyone was ready to eat by 1pm. David warmly welcomed us and we then indulged in a tasty meal of sausages in onion and apples sauce plus rice, with a lovely quiche for the vegetarians. This was followed by an excellent blackcurrant crumble and coffee. Not so frugal but very enjoyable.
