A series of events concentrating on the theme of Peace and Conflict Resolution involving VIth Form students at 6 schools from in and around Cambridge.
These 3 days of activities are organised by the club and include a series of events concentrating on the theme of Peace and Conflict Resolution involving secondary and VIth Form schools in and around Cambridge. This follows on, by request, from last years series of successful talks and debates. A Peace Scholar from Bradford University will again be leading the topic.
Peace events 23-25 Sept 2013 Timetable :
Monday 9.15 to 10.15am Impington VI Form Talk and discussion with students
10.50am to12.20pm Long Road VI Form Talk and discussion with students
1.00 to 2.00pm Stephen PerseVI Form Talk and discussion with students
4.30 to 7.30pm The Leys School Great Hall Debate between 6 schools teams
Tuesday 9.30 to11.30am Netherhall VI Form Talk and discussion with students
1.15 to 4.30pm Parkside VI Form Workshop with students
7.00pm to late University Arms Hotel Human Rights evening
with Dinner and Talk
Wednesday 12.45 to 1.45pm Hills road VI Form Talk and discussion with students
2.15 to 3.15pm Comberton VI Form Talk and discussion with students
