Our "jolly" to Lisbon

6 couples left from Liverpool on Monday April 29th for wonderful Lisbon. We stayed in a excellent hotel just a short metro trip to the centre and we made the most of the short stay to see as much as possible. Some of us travelled by open top tourist bus and some by metro ( all competitively priced). We explored the attractive streets, the expo quarter, the harbours and marinas, museums and art galleries, hill top castles, narrow streets on trams and took in the atmosphere and stunning scenery. We shared our evening meals in traditional and modern Portugese restaurants ( not the best food but perfectly acceptable ) and shared our delicious breakfasts in the hotel dining room. A trip to remember and I am sure we all agreed that we will be back to Lisbon one day!
