A total of 80 Rotarians, Wives and Guests enjoyed a fine evening of wining, dining and dancing at the Conservative Club, Creek Road. President's Night marks the drawing to conclusion of President Ross Davies year in office.
The function gives everyone attending the chance to to doll their finery, socialise and greet old friends in the Bar, and to enjoy a splendid dinner provided by Classic Catering.
After proposing the Loyal Toast President Ross welcomed all, reflecting upon the Club's achievements over the past Rotary year. District Governor Rotarian Trevor Sayer responded on behalf of the guests. Peter Bennett, Senior Vice President proposed a Toast to The Ladies, with The Presidents Lady, Jan Davies, light heartedly responding to the enjoyment of all. Following the formalities The Skyliners commenced playing music for dancing and it was a late hour when revellers wended their way home after a most enjoyable evening.
