Rtn David Adamson runs the London Marathon in aid of the childrens charity Starlight.

day 21st April 2013 David will be trundling around the London Marathon one last time to raise as much money as possible to support Starlight. He is with a group of 59 other Starlight runners all dressed as fairies - keep an eye out for them amongst the 37,500 others on the day !
You may have heard him on Heart FM and Radio Cambridge this week.
Starlight is a charity which grants wishes for children who are terminally ill or chronically ill beyond cure. Trips are arranged for the child and their parent - maybe to Disney World, or for time with a celebrity or sports team. Starlight has very low overheads as it is largely staffed by volunteers and young professionals between jobs. Some of the money David raises is to grant a wish for a Cambridge 8 year-old boy called Harrison who has a very rare condidtion called Primary Ciliary Syndrome, which is incurable and causes bad chest infections and other serious problems. Harrison wants his Mother to go with him to have time with Manchester United, a trip they couldn't otherwise afford.
