Ian and Carolyn once again warmly welcomed us to their lovely home for a very tasty Spanish meal to raise money for our many international charities and projects. You can see more about these at https://www.rotary-ribi.org/clubs/page.php?PgID=249589&ClubID=931
We started the evening sharing a glass of wine and chatting. The tasty tapas starters included chorizo, proscuito, cheese and bread ( from the Ludlow food centre - very nice flavour), with olives and olive oil/ balsamic vinegar while the main course included paella, meatballs, marinated vegetables and beans in tomato sauce. Very flavoursome and very spanish - could hear the maracas in the background! No one offered to do any flamenco dancing but we were challenged by a quiz on all things Spanish and learned much. Dorothy won the raffle and we then finished the evening off with a raisin icecream and a spanish creme caramel followed by coffee. Many thanks once again to Ian and Carolyn for their hospitality and excellent fare. A very enjoyable evening......
