Laithwaites Live - Wine Tasting Evening

Once again, a small group of members travelled up to London to taste and savour a range of wines, this time at the Laithwaites Wine Festival.

This was a great opportunity to sample new wines, revisit old favourites and buy for Christmas, at a 10% discount with free shipping.

The evening started with collection by a chauffeur-driven car in Billericay with transport to the door of the Festival at Vinopolis near London Bridge, close to the Thames. 

Arriving just before the start we were quickly inside and armed with our tasting glasses were able to spend the next 3 hours "judiciously" tasting the wines - old favourites and new entrants among them.  Finally, at the end of the session, we were able to order the wines we liked the best with free delivery and at a discount of 10%. 

We were then picked up again and were off to Gauchos, a local branch of the well-known Argentinian Steak Bar and Restaurant, for a good meal and a final drink before being collected for the journey home.
