Councillor Sheila Stuart, Mayor of Cambridge has been re-elected we are fortunate to have the opportunity to hear "the next installment".
Speaker host A Shipp.

At our meeting in 2010 we were privileged to have the City Mayor, Councillor Sheila Stuart talk to us about her interesting year as a mayor. Sheila, who was born in Seattle, came to England and married a Cambridge business man in 1991. Initially she helped in her husbands business but when this was sold she entered local politics in 2004 as Councillor for the Trumpington Ward. Her year as a mayor includes over five hundred meetings or visits and we are therefore honoured that she has been able to visit our club again.

The club was treated to a fascinating account of a year in her life as she balances her full time job, her family life and her mayoral duties. She described how the past year has been of outstanding interest with once in a life time events, namely The Queen
