38th Charter Night - 2013

The Soham Club celebrated it's 38th Charter Dinner. DG Trevor Sayer and top Table guests of Club Presidents from neighbouring Clubs joined President Iain and guest speaker Charlie Haylock. Visiting Rotarians and friends of Soham Rotary joined the party.
The Soham Staploe Club celebrated it's 38th Charter in style - President Iain's top table guests included District Govenor Trevor Sayer, guest speaker Charlie Haylock, and the President's of Ely, Ely Hereward, Littleport and Newmarket clubs.
Guests included Past District Governor's Rodney Howell and John King. The Founder President's son was also present, Gerrard Hobbs. A good contingent of Rotarians from Soham, Littleport and Ely Clubs joined the loyal friends of Soham Rotary who's support is appreciated at the event.
The guest speaker, Charlie Haylock, well known to many did not disappoint in his delivery of Suffolk ditties in a Suffolk dialect. Authentic in his attire, he had the audience in fits of laughter while keeping the renowned poker fake of a Suffolk story teller. A hard act to follow.
