Steak and Bowls at the Grove

20 Rotarians and very welcome guests congregated at the Grove Bowl in Leominster to partake of a steak and chips meal followed by a game of 10 pin bowls. After a pleasant meal ( though steak quality was variable ) we trooped into the bowling alley area, put on our " oh so elegant" bowling shoes and we were off. Like the steaks, quality of play varied widely but the eventual winner was President Paul, with Kim and Anne Gilbert runner ups. Our guests Dave and Gill, David and Maureen, and Anne and Julian were first timers but we hope their enjoyment of the evening means we will see them again! A very good evening was had by all.
