Four fine Fife young ladies graced the weekly meeting with their lively presence as they gave graphic and honest account of a life stimulating experience they all relished and enjoyed at this summer's RYLA Week.
The Rotary Youth Leadership Awards scheme has Rotary Clubs sponsor and fund young men and women to experience the challenge and excitement of week long adventure pursuit at the highland Abernethy outdoor event centre in the Scottish Highlands. In turn, Rebecca Wood (5th Year St Andrews High), Lisa O'Reilly ( 5th Year St Andrews High(, Nicky Robertson (6th Year Kirkcaldy High) and Bethany MacDonald (formerly 6th Year St Andrews High), all gave lucid, engaging, and honest account of their encounter with the likes of gorge walking, abseiling, canoeing, rock climbing as they learned more about their own inner selves. It was more than apparent to their audience that this quartet of 'Fife's finest' augurs well for future good citizenship in Fife.
Rotarian Robert Main flagged up the forthcoming Kirkcaldy Ingolstadt 50th Anniversary Celebrations that will take place within The Marquee at our lang toun's Town Square, 30th August to 2nd September.
