A visit to the School in a Bag Production Line - 4 April 2013

This year our president Sarah Holley's nominated Charity is School in a Bag. Luke Simon from the charity hosted a visit to the School in a Bag production line and gave us a chance for us to do some bag packing. The venue was Home Farm, Main Street, Chilthorne Domer, Somerset. BA22 8RD.

We had a great turn out from our club & we were warmly welcomed at Home Farm with a hot drink & choice of doughnut or flapjack. Luke Simon & his dad Henry started things off by showing us a slideshow of their various projects across the globe including schools in Nepal, Swaziland & The Gambia. They have so far donated over 37, 000 bags in 11 different countries. He explained how they were now sourcing bags nearer there destination to save on shipping costs.
