2 April 2012 - Roger wins Archie Ferguson Darts Competition

The Archie Ferguson Darts Singles, an annual Rotary Club of Amersham event, took place on the 2nd April at the Amersham Community Centre.

Out of seven members playing in the event, Derek Brown had a bye to the semi-finals. The semi-finals were competed by Derek Brown v Anthony Merrett and Allan Childs v Roger Wyborn. 

Close competition ensued with lots of banter from the watching crowd, culminating in a win for Roger Wyborn. Roger is pictured above with our Senior Vice President Richard Langley presenting the trophy.   

Archie Ferguson was President of The Rotary Club of Amersham for the year 1947/1948. This event has continued annually since then.
