Archery Evening followed by a Buffet at the Windwhistle Inn
A fun filled evening has been planned, weather permitting - to visit the woods. What more do you need to know, I ask myself?
Well - actually - It's an archery evening.....
Starting at 7.00pm - (to get the most of the light) - It is being held in the normal place. For those that don't know the "normal" place - If you drive from Crewkerne towards Chard and go through Roundham. Just after Roundham there's a turning on your right to Hinton St George. 10 meters past this turning is a gate into the woods on the right hand side with car parking inside - feel free to enter at your peril......
After attempting to shoot the targets - (as if we're actually going to hit them!) we then need to hold a meeting to discuss improvements, technical failures and our incompetence compared to the person shooting next to us - It is proposed to hold this meeting immediately after the archery event at the Windwhistle Inn where a skittle style buffet will be put on for us to replenish our waning energy after the exertions' of the evening.
