Young Musician

The competition provides an excellent opportunity for Young Musicians to participate in a valuable experience to perform as a soloist in either the instrumental or vocal sections.

The competition is open to all competitors who are 17 or under on 31st of August each year.

When required, a piano will be provided for an accompanist.

In each competition the competitors are given constructive criticism and assessment of their performances by experienced adjudicators.

Performers can play from memory or from music at any stage.

Competitions are arranged by individual clubs. The winner going forward to the district final 

The District Final is scheduled for the 9th February at Sharow Church, Ripon, starting at 1.00pm.  The winners of this event will go forward to a Cluster Final which is scheduled for Saturday 15^th March 2025 at Wesley Methodist Church & Community Centre, Middleton Road, HEYSHAM, Lancs LA3 2QE at 2.00 p.m.  The National Final is scheduled for 29th March at a venue yet to be confirmed.
