Games for the Disabled (2012)
Organised by Rotary District 1030, this annual event is held at Eston and has competitors travelling from around the region. The Rotary Club of
Newton Aycliffe organise transport for the competitors from our local area and their carers, provide lunch and obviously officiate at the club
throwing event.
It is a thoroughly enjoyable day for spectators and competitors alike. However, dont underestimate the competitors abilities, because for one
thrower, our tape proved to be 10 metres too short and made retrieving the club a much longer walk than expected.
