On Wednesday 30th November we held an evening meeting attended by wives partners and guests in our usual venue, Barn Hall.
During the evening we were most fortunate to be entertained by 26-year-old Claire Jones, who in 2007 was appointed official harpist to His Royal Highness, the Prince of Wales.
Claire arrived together with her beautiful gilded harp and not only played some wonderful emotive pieces to demonstrate the versatility of her instrument, but interspersed her recital with anecdotes about her career and her exciting life in music.
