Saxon's talk entitled "Now I'm 64 - what are the economic challenges and consequences of the greying of the UK population?" He presented a detailed picture of population dynamics for world, UK and other selected countries looking forward to 2090.


The annual joint meeting for the four Cambridge Rotary clubs hosted by South Cambridge. 

The speaker, Saxon Brettell is Managing Director of Piametrics, a Cambridge (UK) based economic consultancy. He is one of the UK's leading practitioner economists with over 40 years of experience of providing economic research and consultancy services for the private, public and not-for-profit sectors in the UK and internationally.

His most recent role was as Head of Research for the City of London Corporation, where he led research commissioning and provided intelligence and an evidence base to inform policy for the City of London, engaging with policymakers, leading practitioners, regulators and government officials within London
