The Rotary Club of South Cambridge invited Rotarians, their partners and their guests to celebrate with them at their 46th CHARTER NIGHT which was held at Selwyn College, Cambridge on Friday 30th March 2012.  Derek Baldry, a Founder Member and Treasurer for the last five years acted as Master of Ceremonies.  We were very pleased to be joined on the night by Presidents, members and their partners from six other local clubs. A delightful menu was enhanced by humerous extracts from Charles Dickens' many novels and articles, read by Shopfield Productions to celebrate his 200th birthday. Entertaining speeches made by IPDG Rodney Howell, President David Ellis and President Nominee Bob Sadler finished off the evening that was enjoyed by all.
