Past President Gareth Davies congratulates Brian Roussel on becoming President of the Rotary Club of Abergavenny for 2011/2012.
Past President Gareth Davies handed over the chain of office to Brian Roussel at the special lunch held at the Glen yr Afon House Hotel in Usk on Sunday 26th June 2011.
In his acceptance speech, Brian praised Gareth for being such an excellent President of the club over the preceeding 12 months and thanked Gareth for handing over a vibrant, active club with a growing membership and a positive outloook. Commenting on his plans for the year ahead, Brian said that his theme for the year would be "Fun and Fellowship" while continuing to raise money for good causes and organise numerous activities and events to benefit the community.
